Bio40-something writer and now teacher. I am a former newspaper editor and magazine writer who now teaches high school. I do a lot of publicity for community organizations. And, I edit everyone -- no one escapes my red pen! An avid reader, I can demolish a good book in hours. I love my children, dogs (especially Chinese pugs), the beach, the mountains and spending time with friends and family. Great cook and baker -- probably would have been a chef if I hadn't started writing (at age 6) before I started cooking (at age 8). I want to learn to knit.
